. Wittenden left this review about The Duke William
Red brick pub in a small village handy for the A1(M). Two smallish rooms, both on our weekend lunchtime visit laid up for dining,together with a small 'snug' off the main entrance. High quality food, at approaching Southeast prices beguilingly served.Two cask beers from the local Pheasantry farm brewery (Pale Ale and the award winning Best Bitter.) The PA on good form.
We liked the pub and the people, but one could question its real pub status.
