The Oak Tree looks like a 30s built pub,it is situated well away from the town centre on the busy southwell road.
Once inside there is a large single L shaped room,the bar faces on entry,there was a raised area to the front right which had bench seating and normal tables and chairs,the left side was more bar like with a pool table to the rear left.
There were five real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Doom Bar which was a decent enough drink,the other beers were Nottingham Supreme,Hobgoblin,London Pride and Bombardier.
The pub was very busy on my Saturday afternoon visit with most people drinking.
