This appears to be an old coaching inn set in the centre of Morpeth. It doesn't look very big from the main street but it's long and narrow and extends all the way via a patio to the next street. It's split into different areas with a central bar and mostly carpeted. There are TV screens but they were showing advertising for the pub. There was music playing, live music and a Sunday quiz advertised.
The bar has six hand pumps which had one unused, Credence American IPA, Mordue Workie Ticket, Old Rosie cider, Anarchy Blonde Star and Tyne Bank Valencian Suite. I went for the Credence IPA (£3.10) which was in reasonable nick.
This place was better than I expected with some decent beer options.
