A stone built wedge shaped pub, mercilessly modernised inside. Open plan with blonde wood through out, there is an optical illusion carpet in the area right of the front door. The counter is left when entering and has just the one beer engine and two quad T-bars, the only cask was Allendale Golden Plover and it was very poor quality. Basically an L shape with seating along the long front wall and the counter to the left. Screens are a big feature here, the only decor being some photos of local sports teams.

this pub has had a refurb to a cafe style and been renamed the Jubilee which makes a pleasant change. Worth a visit for a coffee or something stronger, beware the unusual carpet.
