The Queen Eleanor is a Fayre and Square pub attached to the Premier Inn in Wooten. I stumbled into the bar at 10:10 Sunday morning after staying in the hotel only to discover that I had missed the breakfast by ten minutes, but I was able to purchase a livener in the form of a well poured Guinness. I didn’t spot any hand pumps, but a good range of draught products were available and the service was polite and the bar area is very comfortable. Some picnic tables can be found outside and there are some climbing apparatus on the lawn where the kids can amuse themselves.
This pub is fine as a hotel pub, but I wouldn’t make it a destination place if I lived locally.
