The Crown & Cushion is the last pub on the Wellingborough road run,so we decided to do the short walk up to it then pub crawl our way back towards the middle of Northampton.
Once inside there is a single L Shaped room with the bar facing,the front area is carpeted and has comfy bench seating and small stools,there was a TV to the front left showing rugby,the rear area is bare boarded and has tall tables and chairs,there is a pool table to the rear.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Taylor Landlord which was a decent drink,the other beers were London Pride and Doom Bar.
The pub was quite busy on our Saturday afternoon visit.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to have a drink in.
