Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Lilacs
The Lilacs is named after a local breed of rabbit. It is located down a narrow lane off the main road.
On our Sunday lunchtime visit, a Sunday carvery was in operation in the rear room. There were plenty of people drinking outside on a side patio and I suspected that we would be directed to sit outside, considering we were only having a drink. But in fact, we were directed to a couple of armchairs in the room where food was being served.
Greene King IPA is the regular beer here. There are 3 guests, which were Fuller's London Pride, Oakham JHB & Box Steam Golden Bolt. I chose the latter, which was in good condition, despite me not being a fan of golden beers.
