Nice enough village pub popular with the locals on a Sunday afternoon. Popped inside to rustle up some drinks to find a fairly bare-bones main bar, looks like it's not long been refurbished - and furniture thinned out for obvious reasons.
Plenty of outdoor seating, we had a drink of Purity Gold on the terrace at the front to observe the comings and goings.
Advertised table service seemed to be honoured in the breach and worryingly the half-drunk glasses and dirty ashtray remained on the next table throughout our stay. Nor were we asked to sign in.
More care needed if those of us of a certain age are to feel comfortable.
