Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plough
Traditional-looking pub with a modernised and substantially opened-out interior that feels quite spacious, if dark and not that authentic. However, the welcome was friendly and I enjoyed my pint of Old Hooky (£4.20), with the other three handpumps offering Ruddles, Tribute and a cider.

Mild Drinker left this review about The Plough
Not local but popped in whilst in the area. The building itself is in great condition and has a covered seating area along the rear which I imagine would be great in the summer. I had an Old Hooky and not usually a cider drinker but fancied trying a Rosie's Pig which I hadn't seen before. Food was also reasonably priced and of a good quality. Well worth a visit.

Old Boots left this review about The Plough
A seemingly small building with a thatched roof at the front but the building goes back quite away down the side elevation, otherwise an open plan yoof pub with exposed stone, settles, tongue and groove, carpet with bare boards by the bar counter and round the pool table, mute big screens on sport channels, games machines and constant music: in other words the usual pub-u-like, uninspired design seen hundreds of times before in small market towns. As expected the only cask ale - Directors - was moribund and as for the bar staff, well, Ms A was very good, but Mr B had something too important to do with the till than to serve me.
