Nicely modernised suburban local on north side of town, all very smartly painted up and nicely furnished with a bright modern feel. The front rooms feel a bit sporty, with a couple of screens, darts, and a (covered) pool table, while there is a large dining room behind the central servery. Outside there are various sheltered areas, presumably a throwback to Covid. Despite the copious Black Sheep branding there was just Doom Bar on handpump - reasonable condition although it seemed a little sweet. Quite adequate if you are passing but not worth a trip.

Old Boots left this review about The Broken Bridge
Formerly the Leeds Arms till the bridge was washed out in a big flood a few years back. Thoughly modernised, but with mix of traditional pub furniture and taller ultra modern stuff. Four pulls of Taylors Landlord, Doombar, Copper Dragon, and a blank, the counter front has a photo of the damaged bridge, including two other pubs in the background. Normal sort of kegs on 7 tall solos and a low t-bar of 3. Beer quality ? Best not to ask.

The Leeds Arms is on the main road on the eastern edge of Tadcaster.
This pub has still got its John Smiths signs outside,i did'nt like the look of this pub that much but was surprised when i went in as it was a fairly smart one room pub there was one real ale on here this was John Smiths cask and this was a fairly decent drink.
