Sat down off road level on the bridge approach the main door is at the back via a beer garden. A Sams pub so it has a very traditional interiorwith bench seating, brown wooden tables, quarry tile floor and a real fire. The main bar is one of several rooms but the only one with a counter, there's no cask beer but a fair range of the kegs at Sams usual low prices. To the side is a games room with a pool table and darts, this room is serve by a hatch to the servery. Fairly quiet on a Tuesday lunchtime visit with just the landlady and three punters. No swearing and "Digital Detox Pub" signs but not to excess, there's a group of sports trophies and the decor is largely old Taddy photos and equine prints.

The Bay Horse is a stone built pub that is set slightly below the main road and the main entrance is at the back of the pub.
There are two rooms in this pub with a smallish bar and a lounge which is where i had a drink this was a fairly smart and cosy room to have a drink in.
This pub is a Samuel Smiths tied house and the one real ale was Old Brewery bitter and this was a very nice drink.
I thouught this was quite a nice pub.
