Whenever we've been in Scarborough at a weekend this pub has been rammed with kids. However as we were here on a Tuesday we decided to call in. It's one large room with a raised area at the front which doubles as a karaoke stage. There are several large screens showing sport, a dartboard to the left and a pool table to the right. There are two handpumps and on our visit there was only one beer available which was Otter Bitter, which is unusual for the area. My pint was in decent nick as well. I don't think we'll be bothering to call in again, but it was OK for one.

The Sun Inn is a plain looking pub that is on the busy st thomas street in the town centre.
I first visited this pub on 23 August 1986 when the pub was a John Smiths tied house and there was one real ale on which was handpumped John Smiths bitter.
On my second visit 27 August 2003 the pub had been taken over by Mansfield brewery and there was one real ale on which was Mansfield bitter and this was a decent drink.
Once inside there was one longish room that ran across the front of the pub this was carpeted.
This pub was ok for a quick pint.
