Well what can anyone say wrong about this pub Great views over the north yorkshire coast and moors fantastic beer garden good atmosphere Well worth a visit past many times over the years but won't pass this one by again

We all met up here last Wednesday for Lunch and enjoyed good food in a relaxed atmosphere. The Cask Theakston's Best Bitter looked excellent, but sadly I had to make do with Coffee. Its a 200 year old, traditional rural pub just off the A171 about half way between Whitby and Scarborough.The staff made us most welcome and the service was excellent. The fire place which is very immpressive deserves a mention.
