A roadside touristy eating house sort of place with assorted rooms, all festooned with traditional junk and heavy with brass and copper. It is perhaps a bit contrived, but it's nice enough and a bit smarter than its rustic near-neighbour down the road. The gardens outside include a kids play area. More importantly, the landlord likes his beer, so gets occasional GBG listings. The current offering is TT Landlord and Rudgate Jorvik Blond and no complaints about condition.
