Not a lot changes in this pub, it’s been the same for about 10 years to my knowledge. It might do cask now and again but the salt of the earth type customers obviously prefer their lager and smooth. Older demographic, the pub occasionally gets redecorated but sadly not the punters.

Yes i agree with Elizabeth very clicky if your not local you can spot these sort of pubs goes quiet when you go in no talking for a while all looking at you.

Date of visit 28th of May That made our mind up two halves.

Had 2 nights here - phone booking;no problems. Comfortable clean room and good breakfasts. Not my type of pub, though - rather too "local".

Request to mark pub as open submitted by Old Boots, with included notes: Open, refurbished but no substantial changes internally, although one side appears more fore dining the right being more bar like. Solitary hand pump with clip reversed.
