Old Boots left this review about Black-A-Moor Inn

Recently (March2013) reopened with a more balanced drink to food approach than previously. One end of the building is still a popular restaurant, the other is purely a drinking area furnished with low leather sofas and some Britannia tables with stools and chairs A small alcove just off this part of the pub has a single large dinning table. The pub is still decorated with farming, livestock and beauty spot pictures while the restaurant retains its collection of farming implements. Three pumps one a guest the others with well kept Theakstons and Black Sheep, the guest on this occasion was another Black Sheep beer. Bring back Rudgate says I.

Old Boots left this review about Black-A-Moor Inn

Mostly a popular restaurant with B&B, there is a small drinking area with sofas beside the bar, the other end of the room is set for dining as is a larger second room and a small alcove. Black Sheep Bitter from the new light up pump which is mainly well kept and often a guest beer is available. The food is generally homely, well prepared and reasonably priced. Decorated with old farming implements and farming, livestock and beauty spot pictures plus some local art for sale. Probably not the best place for a casual drink.

Update April 2010 - The Black Sheep has been replaced with Rudgate's beers and a guest.
