Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Old George

Rather more modern inside than the old-fashioned exterior (with residual signs of former Bass ownership) would suggest. Refurbished 'L'-shaped interior with an additional seating / dining area at one end and a patio beer garden beyond the other. Modest menu, but the food offers seem popular. One sadly disused handpump, so made do with a quick pint of John Smith's (£2.60).
