Heavily modernized inside and out (saved from being turned into housing). U shaped interior with laminated floor, lots of light modern undressed brick, hipster-style wall decals and a small astroturf garden, felt much more like a provincial town centre bar. Modern music blaring out along with mute tennis on a number of screens. Impressed by the space age bogs though less impressed by the beer – whilst three were on (Theakston Bitter, TT Landlord and Bosun's Bermuda Triangle) the half of Bosun I had was dire. Deciding I’d rather press on to Hull before rush hour, I dumped it. It isn’t my kind of place but hopefully enough locals will feel otherwise and keep it going.
