Cask Marque certificate had expired when I looked at the pub today and contemplated going in. I could see through the window that there were two hand pumps with no pump clips, so I didn't bother. Apologies for the lack of commitment.

Good solid pub with enthusiastic landlord and friendly staff. One side laid out for food, which was really good by the way, the other a large bar with pool and darts, but all very comfortable and well looked-after. Beers included Rosey Nosey. presumably as seasonal guest, and in good condition. Recommended.

The Bull and Sun is a decent pub in the old town there were 4 handpumps on the bar the John Smiths cask was a decent drink the other beers were Black Sheep,Theakstons Old Peculiar and Greene King Abbot,the pub was comfortable inside and did food but i did'nt look at the menu.
