Unlike the previous reviewer, I wouldn't call the pub basic. It's a very busy place which is food-led most of the time with the small area by the bar reserved for drinking. Usually has four real ales on but since a change of management in late 2023 these tend to be national brands (in November 2023 the offering was Doom Bar, Wainwright Gold, Landlord and Black Sheep Bitter).

Unashamedly basic and somewhat spartan locals' pub opposite the quay. Friendly enough and keeps a couple of ales from the usual Adnams/Woodfordes/Greene King selection. Not one for the tourists (who have enough to choose from).
