Small hotel with heavy food trade in extensive grounds used for camping. Has slightly dated feel, with lots of brick arches and the sort of furniture found in pubs 30 years ago, but felt well looked after. Two handpumps carrying Greene King IPA and "something else from GK" badged as house beer.

We were back in Wroxham for our annual holiday and visited the The Lodge Country House twice. According to a page from the local paper on the notice board, it had been in danger of closing. There was a good local trade on the two afternoons we were there, and they have opened a caravan and camp site. Greene King IPA is still £3.30, and there is a Lodge Bitter available at 3.7%, which I did not try. It is still a most pleasant and civilised place to be in and we shall return next year.

A return trip to The Lodge while on our annual holiday in Wroxham. The place is the same as it was, apart from the installation of a large flat screen TV in the covered smoking area, which you could hear walking up the pathway from the car park. It was not as busy inside as it has been in previous years. The whole area seemed quieter this year. Greene King IPA and Fullers London Pride were available. At £3.30, the IPA is a bit pricey. Still a nice place to visit, and we shall no doubt be back next year.
