Whitewashed seventeenth building under a neat black corrugated iron roof which protects the original thatch. A central door joins the two bar areas, but was not in use on our COVID 19 regulated visit-entrance being via a side door.A more modern dining area faces the pub garden, which also caters for families.The mandatory one way system led through the beamed and panelled bars,sparsely populated with solitary senior citizens: a more jolly group of cyclists shared the dining room with us.
Three handpumps: on our Saturday afternoon visit two beers from the neighbouring Papworth Brewery, together with Ghost Ship from Adnams,which was in great nick, ably described by the enthusiastic Guv.
