If you are served with a short measure pint of cloudy Lacons beer and when you complain only to be told that its a new barrel and there is nothing wrong with it then this is the place for you. This is the sort of time warp that takes me back forty or so years, it is here and the product is also diabolically expensive. We did not bother to stay and will not be back. The final insult was that the barman told us that the beer was supposed to be as it was pulled - cloudy. I hope that Lacons are aware! The place is also a gin house. Perhaps they should stick to selling that.

This modern style freehouse pub, was serving two ales from Woodfordes on our visit, which were well kept and reasonably priced. This pub has a quite relaxing atmosphere in the evening and is the sort of place to sit and watch the world go by.
