A whitewashed brick pub under a Norfolk pantile roof in a popular Broadland village. One largish bar, divided into differing areas, and a dining room to one side.On our visit on a midweek October evening, we were the only occupants of the dining room:the bar, on the other hand, was buzzing with drinkers and their dogs.Some sporting event was showing on the TV.
On the bar three handpumps offered Wherry, Brain's Revd. James and Citra from Oakham which was on good form.Fizzy beers were also to be had.
Our meals were reasonable, served with charm if some gaucheness.
