We stay in Wroxham each year on holiday and have passed this pub many times but never tried it probably because it is a large roadhouse with live music advertised. The entrance is at the right hand end which takes you in to the main bar area. It runs round to the left and leads into a large vaulted area, (the part with the tall windows in the photos,) with a dining area at the back. It is totally unspoilt and the vaulted area is most impressive. There were a few local customers and there was a good relaxing pub atmosphere. Woodforde’s Wherry, Wolf Brewery Golden Jackal and Strawberry Fair, Norfolk Grain Brewery Oak and Burnards Cider Montys Double were available. It was such a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a drink and we should have tried it before. We will return next year.
