Old Boots left this review about The Eagle

An old Georgian house converted into a pub, it looks like it should be a restaurant but it’s a slightly odd pub that serves food. There’s a central counter with four pulls of local beers not in best order, and a variety of solos and T-bars of the usual dross. The central room has an area to each side as seating or probably dining areas. There’s a spiral staircase to somewhere but I lost my mojo in here.

Expect to see more diners than drinkers. The pub was busy on our Tuesday afternoon visit, service was good, staff friendly and helpful. The pub consists of a large central lounge and bar, with a spiral staircase leading upstairs to seat about 35 diners. There was a large room on the right, which had a long dining table down the middle of it. There was another room at the rear leading into the garden. Three ales on handpump, London Pride, Doombar and their house beer called Eagles Nest, which is brewed by bass.

This pub looks more like a manor house from the outside.
Once inside this pub has been done up and is smart in the modern style, there were two real ales on i had a drink of Wolf Brewery Golden Jackal the other beer was called Eagles Nest not sure if this is an house beer or who brews this beer.
