This is a fantastic little pub, with everything needed for a great night. Great Ales kept really well, good music on the jukebox and a great little cheap pool table. Had many fantastic nights in here as a student and still always call in when I am in the area. An all round cracking place to visit and deceptively large and comfortable inside, courtesy of the landlord.

This is a back street pub that looks like a prefab built after the war,there were quite a few people in when i visited i tried Winters Golden Bitter which was very nice there was another handpump but i did'nt get to see what it was,this pub is a bit different to most i have been in and the beer was very drinkable.
