A slightly larger than average side street pub, opened out a bit and feeling rather empty with a large expanse of unoccupied floor to one side. Some of the furniture is a bit tacky but it retains a few nice features, including a good barback and a couple of sections of old partitions. Four ales were on offer: Wolf Golden Jackal and Edith Cavell, and Adnams Bitter and Ghost Ship. The condition of that sampled was not brilliant, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as it was friendly enough.

not keen on this pub it use to very nice..but in the last 5yrs its gone down hill.
the choice of drinks arent great.

This is a corner pub that i quite liked all of the pub has bare floorboards and the bar is in the middle of the pub with the drinking areas wrapped round it there were four handpumps on the bar i had Woodforde's Wherry which was a decent drink the other beers were Youngs Special,Courage Best and Deuchars IPA.The Pub was full of students and most of them were eating here not a bad pub to have a few drinks in.
