For my recent visit to Hunstanton I had checked the Good Beer Guide and this pub was featured (2010 edition). The write-up seemed to concentrate more on the pool table and large screen TV, so I wasn't disappointed to find that it was a typical seaside dive. There were about six people in, but the management had made the usual attempt to make it feel "lively" by playing realy awful rock music incredibly loudly. My beer was served in a warm glass, which would have been understandable if the place had been heaving, but in the circumstances it just typified sloppy service. The GBG entry mentions two handpumps and a third to be installed "soon". There was no sign of this, and indeed only one of the pumps had any beer. I can't tell if it was any good or not, because I was drinkling from a warm glass.
