Large 19th century brick built corner pub, now open planned into a bland single L shaped room the right hand side dominated by a pool table. A servery occupies the middle of the L but there's only taps on the left side. Two pulls, one blank one with Wadsworth 6X clip reversed. This was maybe a good thing as it was perhaps the hottest day of the year and other pubs had had severe problems. A couple of quad T-bars have some of the nation’s favourites to dispense. Board and laminate floors, plain light grey walls other than old photos of the pub nothing in the way of decor.
A couple of screens, machines and occasional piped music from a juke box completing the picture of a fairly average town pub.

Strongers . left this review about The Three Tuns Inn
The Three Tuns has a wooden floored front bar area with blue banquettes under the front windows adjacent to an exposed brick fireplace on the left-hand wall which sits beside a small U-shaped serving counter that also serves a laminate floored area at the rear where a handful of locals were playing pool. On the left-hand wall adjacent to the rear of the counter is a much larger exposed brick fireplace, so at least one wall has been knocked through at some point. The décor is quite plain with a couple of televisions that were both off due to my midweek visit being before any kick-offs. However, there was some loud music being pumped out of the speakers via a jukebox. The service was polite, and the bar supports standard and premium keg alongside two hand pumps, Wadworth’s 6X was available but Purity Brewing’s Mad Goose was off. This is a bog-standard high-street boozer that will have little to no draw for non-locals like me.

A truly awful single bar corner pub which seems to cater for the hard-of-hearing and the hard-of-thinking. It is soulless, noisy and generally unwelcoming, and feels more like a Serbian Police holding area than an English pub. They did serve Doombar, but it was over-gassed (as indeed were many of the locals) and not in the best condition (again the locals…). I am highly unlikely to return.
