This is a pleasant enough two bar country pub with dining room that does a decent traditional pub grub menu and usually has a couple of real ale and ciders on to go with them.
Doom Bar and Purity UBU seem the usual ales with the latter unfortunately off for my visit, but at least the Doombar was well kept.
Two traditionally decorated bars but we sat in the dining room at the back. There is a tele in the main bar and unfortunately also one in the dining room as well which was on. But it was the Spammers in their European cup final so I can understand that.
The food was very good, so I would give this one a recommendation if you are in the area and looking for some honest pub grub.
