Ok it was over 40 years ago when I was last here, but it has been transformed beyond any recognition, apart from the frontage of the old pub. Inside has been extended, knocked through and given a totally modern feel with much dark paintwork and twee lighting. Ales were Lacons Legacy, Greene King IPA and Mr Winter's Camel Mild, the latter admittedly in the best condition of anywhere locally. Sports TVs and some average musak seem to be the only entertainment, but food is available all day.
