Strongers . left this review about Lacon Arms
The laminate floored L-shaped Lacon Arms was empty during a recent Tuesday evening visit, so I ordered a half, but got a pint from the friendly landlady who was distracted while trying to put up some Christmas lights. There’s a projector above some red banquettes on the front wall and to the left is a dartboard before an L-shaped wood panelled serving counter that runs up the left-hand wall where it faces some tables and chairs up the right. In the rear is a pool table above which are some disco lights that I assume are used for the Friday music and bingo nights, as well as other party events that are advertised alongside shots and drink deals. The televisions were off, but there was some background music playing courtesy of a jukebox. Maybe this place comes into its own at the weekend, but during my visit I saw little to draw me back in.
