When we arrived early one afternoon, the outside patio area was busy. As you enter the pub there is a small vestibule with the door to the gents opposite, and then a few steps that lead you into the pool table area. All rather odd and awkward. About a quarter of the clientele were either dogs or pushchairs, and most of the rest looked as though they spend a lot of time in the place. The atmosphere was not welcoming, and we decided not to stay. I have not rated it as we never got as far as buying a drink.
