Pleasant pub at south east edge of town, refurbished in gastro-pub style so needs to weather in a bit to regain its character. Food therefore a little pretentious (ploughmans with sun-blushed tomatoes and capers?) but nonetheless very nice. Adnams and a couple of other ales on handpump - Cask Marque and Good Beer Guide listed at time of visit so nothing to complain about on that score. Well worth a visit, and you avoid the chaotic town traffic system too!
