This is a good friendly local's pub, where you can enjoy a chat and get a good pint of beer. The pub has a comfortable lounge and bar in front of you as you enter. There was also a smaller room off the main lounge, which was set out for dining. Six handpumps in use on our visit, serving a good choice of beers. I went for the Elgoods Cambridge, Oldershaw Newtons Drop, St Peters Ruby Ale and Wolf Twenty 13.
