Now closed and having it's heart ripped out by the builders. According to the planning notices posted outside it's going to become a Prezzo restaurant.

I'm pretty sure this pub was called the White Horse back in the 70's and 80's when I used to vbisit Uxbridge regularly. Not sure when it changed but it is now called the Ostler and is well placed opposite Uxbridge bus and train stations. A fairly unremarkable pub to be honest, no real ale, comfortable seating, not particularly busy on my visit. think it's more of a weekend/evening place when they have DJ's playing. Nice outside seating area but it is right on a busy main road.

I wasn’t very impressed with this place as there was a strange dank smell emanating from the bar area and the pub itself is in need of some maintenance. There is a plasma screen which was showing football and there is a projector screen on the wall, but the projector lighting unit looks as though someone has ripped it from the ceiling. I didn’t spot any real ale, but Amstel was available alongside some standard draught. Food is also served at very cheap prices, but this is not a pub that I would choose to eat in.
To be fair the barman was polite and the Guinness wasn’t bad and I wouldn’t mind having a beer in the ample outside seating which is probably this pubs major draw, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink in here again.
