A former Fuller's house now converted into a Lebanese restaurant. I asked, and apparently you can drop in just for a drink, but the range of Fosters, Cobra or San Miguel might not wet everyone's whistle and the fact that you'd be limited to propping up the small bar means it's not one to enter avec rucksack and GBG. I'm also still trying to get my head around why a restaurant would be showing The One Show on a big screen on mute on a busy Friday night.

Very shocked to ask for a Pimms and to be told "i can make you one but i do not have anything other than lemonade in it!" 'ok' i say 'i will just have a slice of lemon and a slice of lime' "sorry love, we don't do lemon or lime slices as we have no call for it here" WTF lemon and lime is a stand thing to sever with any spirit surely?

The Prince is a good old fashioned no frills local boozer of which there`s not many left. Has a pretty loyal crowd who still use it regulary so hopefully it can ride out this spell where pubs seem to be shutting left right and centre.
