"Baroosh" - What a swanky bar! Well, it's the trendiest bar in Staines, as Quinno pointed out. So if you're 'young' you'll fit in fine! If you're 'trendy' you won't mind the lack of comforts, such as carpets, soft-furnishings, and no log fire to curl up infront of..! But apart from that, it's clean, modern, polished and clutter-free. They serve a particularly nice New Zealand white wine here, and their food is not bad, if a tad more expensive than the usual high street pub. Baroosh is ideal for a drinky before going to the cinema (behind), or going on for a meal elsewhere. Now that the 'Old Town Hall' pub is still closed down (...Simon Roberts to note...) Baroosh has probably taken over as the poshest bar in town! And long may it stay so. 7/10 :o) TJ

Old town hall pub, very airy, nice selection of food and drinks such as burgers, ribs and sandwiches/wraps etc.

A (relatively) trendy bar, which is clean and well designed for what it tries to be. Also serves one real ale (McMullen's Best) which was in decent enough condition tonight. Staff are OK too. Can't complain really. If you're doing a night out in Staines it's well worth a look especially if you're with mockney trendies.
