Surburban village local with a slightly strange open-plan layout, which doesn't do much for the feel of the place, although not actually unpleasant. Beers seemed ok, food not bad. Recent change of landlord so could improve a little. Worth dropping in if passing.

A pub in transition after a series of dubious landlords. Spacious and with a good clientèle, there's a lot of potential. Three ales on the go (Courage Best, Gales' Swing Low and Pride) Swing Low was in good nick, served by a friendly young lass. So there is hope for the place, which is a pretty good location to have an evening drink, or start a pub crawl into Staines.
