'Tavern' is pushing the bounds of accuracy a bit – it's a single room sports bar in a former shop, previously known as Foxes and The Sportsman. It's pretty horrible, scruffy, loud, unwelcoming, has un-sober customers spilling onto the footpath outside, and has no real ale. On this occasion I'm rooting for the dragon.
