Looking very much like a restaurant with beer on first impressions but in the left hand arm of the pub is a dart board and bar billiards table, possibly disused as one is in the way of the other and there’s a sport on TV screen however that area was in darkness when I dropped in. It’s not big, the servery is a truncated horseshoe within the U shaped pub, down the right side are plain dining tables. There are three pulls, London Pride, a reasonable Proper Job and Windsor & Eton Windsor Knot with a reversed clip, plus a couple of T-bars with nowt special. £6.10 for Proper Job seems excessive, even for Lunnun. Sporting team type photos as decor. The gents or “Buoys”, as opposed to “Gulls”, is decorated with drinks labels altered to sexual references, for example Soixant Neuf Du Pape - Chateau Oral”. So the WhatPub/CE description as a “traditional community pub” is a bit wide of the mark. They’re right about the nice windows though.

A nice,quite small little pub tucked away from the high street. A basic U shaped room with a pleasant and well planted beer garden to the rear.Three pumps Offering Fullers London Pride, Wells Bombardier and Twickenham Naked Ladies(odd for a Greene King pub) which was so so in quality with a little sediment in evidence, a new cask of Pride was pulled through by a chap who seemed to be the chef, and informed the barmaid "thats ok now but the first couple of pints will be cloudy"!
I liked the pub not to sure about the cellarmanship though.

Nice cosy pub.Ideal for a quite drink.One of the few Greene King pubs in this area.
