This is another pub with two choices as you enter. To the left is a public bar area that includes a pool table, darts and a juke box. To the right is a carpeted room leading to the garden and this has another small area off to the right primarily for people eating. It was fairly quiet on my Thursday afternoon visit.
There were six hand pumps which had London Pride, Black Sheep Threedom, Doom Bore, Adnam's Ghost Ship, Otter Aussie Summer and Bath Gem. There were also some proper ciders available. I went for the Threedom (£3.60) which came as a surprise as it was something of a hop bomb, not something I would normally associate with that brewery.
This place is one of those pubs trying to provide something for everyone and is probably actually succeeding in that. It gets a strong 7.
