Brick built and London roofed, a typical Victorian corner pub, all knocked into one bigger room as is usual, although fortunately with cream rather than grey interior walls, the brown wainscoting remains as well. A modified L shaped counter sits in the back of the L shaped room, two sets of three pulls with a selection of average Chiswick products, London Pride, ESB, Oliver’s Island and Red Fox - a seasonal. The kegs are on solos mounted against the counter edge, nothing included to trouble craft aficionados. One very big screen in one corner. There’s some interesting looking prints lurking under the strings of fairy lights decorating much of the room. Another pub that’s very much for the local community.

The most distinctive and externally best looking of the four Griffin Park pubs. Internally it is a homely single room pub around an L shaped bar as well described below. There are four ale pumps on two sides of the bar with London Pride on two, Fullers Oliver’s Island on one other and the fourth was reversed but had been St Austell Tribute.
Unfortunately my choice of Oliver’s Island was just about OK, which was slightly disappointing, especially as I quite liked this pub. Hopefully I just caught the beer on an average day and it will continue to thrive when The Bee’s move out, but it could do with ale quality akin to that I experienced in small diversion to the nearby Black Dog Beer House to improve the probabilities of this.

Being another Fuller's pub in this part of the world, it was no surprise to see London Pride on, but St Austell Tribute was also available. There was no sign of any food when we were in there late afternoon on a Wednesday.
There's what looks like some original panelling on the walls, and the bar counter and at least some of the bar back is old. It's carpeted, furnished with normal tables and chairs, has some interesting decor on the walls, and bottles, jugs, etc, sit on top of the bar gantry. But for me the pride of place went to the delightful wood-framed Fuller's brewery mirror on the chimney breast above the fireplace near the front of the pub.
This struck me as a homely pub (it may be different on a match day though), enhanced by the appearance of one of the pub cats, Mulder (Scully was nowhere to be seen) strutting along the bar counter. I rather liked this pub.
