Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Royal Oak
Thankfully this village pub reopened in November 2023 after 3 years of closure starting in the coronavirus pandemic. Refurbished throughout to leave a relatively compact bar, a smaller Fireside Snug and several dining areas (doing reasonable business with Sunday carveries when I called in). Also has a few wooden picnic benches along and a rear beer garden. Three cask beers on handpump: Ruddles, Greene King's surprisingly good Hopping Special amber ale (£4.95) and Harvey's.
