Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Old Prince Of Wales
Refurbished since my last visit some years ago, but less appealing inside than the refreshed façade would suggest. Opened out into an overall 'L' shape, with basic furniture and decor throughout. Pool table at one end and the door to the side patio beer garden at the other. One large screen TV and less-than-background music on a Friday afternoon. No real ale, with the rare (these days, at least, and very dull) keg Flowers Best (£2.60) as alternative to the inevitable John Smith's. Directly opposite the Mark IV tank memorial, one of Ashford town centre's few points of interest.

Strongers . left this review about The Old Prince Of Wales
The Old Prince of Wales is a decent sized L shaped boozer that had a handful of locals in listening to a DJ playing Old School dance music on Friday night a couple of weeks ago. To the right of the bar is a pool table and to the left rear of the bar is a seating area.
The bar is stocked with the usual suspects and the only ale was draught Flowers Best. The bloke working behind the bar was friendly enough, but his female colleague was less so.
I thought that the tank outside was more interesting than this pub so I don’t plan on returning anytime soon.
