The Lord nelson is a decent looking corner pub that is in the back streets.
Once inside there is a L shaped room which is part carpeted and bare boarded, the seating is bench type and chairs, there is a separate pool room to the rear right.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Worthington Smooth crap which is slightly better than the John Smiths crap, the other keg bitter on the bar was Tetley Smooth.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to have a drink in.

Nice enough pub situated off the main drags. If you only drink real ale then you're out of luck.
