A large, nice looking, multi-roomed pub. There are 4 rooms that I saw consisting of a lounge to the right, a public bar to the left and two rear rooms, one of which houses a pool table. To the rear outside there is a bowling green and seating. The public bar has a lot of framed football and rugby shirts from various teams. There were 3 handpumps on the bar in the public bar and I believe a similar amount in the lounge, which was not open on my afternoon visit. Beers included Doom Bore, Wainwright's and a beer called Liquid Sunshine (by whom I have no idea). Its a well presented pub and I enjoyed my stay.
