Brainy Pool left this review about The Red Cat
a much improved pub that may be benefiting from the temporary closure of the nearby Colliers Arms. The real ales remain fairly standard but Titanic Plum Porter was available on my last visit (at a hefty price). The pub, while still majoring on food, is now becoming more community focused after years of marketing itself as a high end gastropub. Pleasant and friendly.
