an upmarket chain dining pub. About 90% of it is a restaurant but there is a pleasant enough bar area in one corner as you go in. just the one real ale on from George Wright, credit where due for using the local brewery I guess.

We visited after a recent refurbishment. Very nice inside (and out on a nice day). Plenty of punters eating but we just had a pint which was a fair offering from the Marstons chain. It's a Chef & Brewer with everything that comes with a chain pub. I assume all the menus in these pubs are the same which makes me wonder if the meals are pre delivered and microwaved.
